Today, I had the fantastic opportunity to return to my alma mater – the Kyiv Professional College of Architecture, Construction, and Management (formerly the Kyiv College of Construction, Architecture, and Design). Once, I was a student here, diving into the depths of knowledge, and now I’m back to share my experience with the next generation! It’s a fascinating feeling – like stepping into the past, but from the other side of the classroom.
The lecture was packed with insights: I spoke about BIM implementation, automation in construction, and real-world cases from our practice. Seeing the students’ enthusiasm was great – they weren’t just listening but asking thoughtful questions and sharing their perspectives. We discussed how modern digital tools empower architects and engineers to work faster and more efficiently.
This event is even more special because it marks the beginning of a broader collaboration between The Heyon and KPCACM. Knowledge isn’t something to be stored away on a shelf – it needs to be passed on, helping young specialists adapt to industry challenges and shape the future.
Thank you to the students and faculty for the warm welcome, engaging discussions, and nostalgic atmosphere! Special thanks to Maiia Serhiivna for the invitation. This is the start of a long-term partnership. This meeting was yet another reminder of how crucial it is for businesses to collaborate with educational institutions—after all, this is where the next generation of our colleagues is being shaped, ready to transform the industry and redefine approaches to architecture and construction.
